Break Time pt. 2

Seriously, I waited almost two weeks for this stupid image to appear. I wish I was joking.

Oh, I published GF volume one in my spare time. It's expensive, it has the old art and I can't do anything about it, but my proof will show up soon and if I deem it close to being worth the cost, I'll let it go public, but, frankly, I don't blame you if you don't buy it.

Other things I've been doing: swimming, sun-burning, finding new comics (The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal and Godseeker), thinking about drawings I want to do and/or sketching them, watching dumb-ass Garry's Mod and Half Life videos on YouTube aaaaand eating and hating my job. I also finally got a book I've waited two plus years for (Glee!) and played some Sims2.

It's enjoyable. I'm going to poke the website and try to get the cobwebs out and then get to work on REALLY reworking some stuff in GF and time management. Maybe one day I'll go to a Con. I live in a shitty area for cons, lemme tell ya.

That's why you go to a con somewhere far away: you get the fun of a convention and the relaxation of a vacation.

Also, I love how you keep throwing ads for your contest on everything.
(p.s, my entry will take a while to finish as the next three weeks will be the most horrible three weeks of my life)

Good point, Psi. I guess I could arrange something like that...I wish someone could afford to go with me. It sucks to travel alone.

I've been posting ads everywhere because I haven't gotten any entries. There I said it. If you submit yours (anything, even a drawing of a line) you'll win. I think GF may be dead...

GF isn't dead until the day you personally make its tombstone; most people just dislike contests (and I have seen hilarious proof of this on a pretty busy forum before). And I refuse to compromise my artistic integrity with stick figures, my submission must be as good as my attention deficit disorder lobsters look funny. Once my school's moratorium begins in another week, I will have enough time to draw the funny lobsters. Or something like that.

My roommate just reminded me that ConnetiCon is, duh, in Connecticutt (sp?) which I live close (enough) to and we could probably travel down. I could probably bribe her with gas money. Sure it's miles and miles away from people who probably read my comic, but I don't plan on having a table. My comic can't support that and my budget for "printing tons and tons of shit people will take for free" isn't exactly infinite.

We'll see.

Lobsters?
