I get so frustrated sometimes that I feel like just dumping the whole comic into one page of sock puppets, but I want to finish this story. And I will.
It's just taking WAY longer than I hoped.
May when I become a librarian I won't feel like death all of the time and can actually get some work done.

Since I think this is heading in kind of the same direction, hopefully this doesn't end in a similar way as it did for Gabriel in Supernatural (I almost cried during that, I WILL cry if it happens to Ramses).

And oh man are sock puppets awesome. I got lazy and did a puppet filler series on my comic, once, and holy hell were they fun to draw (although I was also a little drunk).

I don't know Supernatural.
As of last night, it suddenly occurred to me that Ramses future is completely not figured out yet.
Also, things are breaking apart. I think I need to do some more writing...
Supernatural is one of the three TV shows I watch (and the only one of the three I actually like), you should check out an episode of it, if you want to (although, season 4 is where Heaven, Hell and angels come in and season 5 other religions' deities)
(SPOILERS, DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS) Gabriel get's stabbed with his own arch angel sword by Lucifer and dies right after denouncing his loyalty to Heaven and joins the human characters' team.

I'm not sure. I know I'm Ramses' biggest fan and that makes me sad...Sure he doesn't show up all the time or do much, but he's an angel. I guess I need to work harder at getting his fangirl ratings up..
Haha, don't worry, Go Fish started a years before that show, so I think you have the upper hand, and this comic and Supernatural are very different (also, I highly doubt "character with loyalty issues, who eventually dies" or "there be gods here" are grounds enough for a lawsuit, otherwise half of all fiction ever would be in the greatest deadlocked clusterfuck of all time, heh)
And Ramses is definitely my second favourite character and I do also think he needs some lovin'... aand maybe decapitating a few more people, to bring in some more of us fanboys. (I took one look at the katana-wielding guy in that Deviant Art drawing and he was instantly at the top of my list, regardless of if he ever actually appears in this comic, because... katana... )
Did I mention Ramses decapitating Tlaloc was my favourite page? (I'd say 'poor Tlaloc, though', except, in its context, he totally deserved it)

I'm working on beefing up Ramses' kill-factor or at least personality. It's just difficult because Tlaloc keeps distracting me by being totally hot and complex.
I'm also recently running into a lot AND I MEAN A LOT or writing problems for the next few issues. It seems while issues 1 through 12 played out a million times in my head, recent events (LIKE MY SHITTY JOB) has blocked the creativity required to plan out more pages/chapter/issues/instances.
I hate my job...
Anyway, I'm working very hard and bouncing ideas off other people. It's just hard to find some time, that's all.
If anyone wants to give me a vacation, that would be awesome.
If you don't want to go on a hiatus (which it sounds like is what you need), feel free to use the excuse of me being perfectly fine with you skipping my dedication thing, which I just noticed is the next one up, to take a break from everything comic-related, which will hopefully help you relax a little. Your mind can't run if it's fattened up with stress, after all. Hell, I'll start up Fiesta and play with you and Kit to help distract you from the real world, if you like.

I've only been playing on my off-days (as in off from work) and more or less casually.
As much as I make it sound grudging, my comics only seem to bother me when I'm trying to work on them and I am not in the mood. Super sad fact: 90% of the time I am ready to pour my creative guts out at work and they don't let me draw there anymore (or breathe, half the time). It's like being a pedophile on probation at the park and a school bus of kids in swimtrunks show up...or so I imagine. I'm not a pedophile and I hate children.
But I digress. I won't pass on your page. It's already started. I need a vacation in general. I want to take a week and go back to Mexico or go to a spa or go camping or some stupid shit like that where I can sit somewhere and calm the fuck down. This weekend isn't promising...
Join Fiesta, why not? I'm on Legel and Teva and Kit's on Teva mostly. I've been on the Legel server because I like to try out character builds with no one around me. Also there's a kid on there who is learning Nuhuatl and that's FUCKING HOT.

As added awkwardness (and humour, to an extent) all I meant was that I got the game and tried it, and am not actually currently playing it...

No I finally did eat something (and some cake). I won't be online much tomorrow, at all in Fiesta, as I am holding my annual tea party. They tend to run pretty late so unless things get awkward and people leave early, I can't promise we'll meet up.

Aww, sorry I wasted a couple minutes, then. And no problem. On a positive note, this website looks just fine on a PSP. On a negative note, PSP's are fucking annoying to type on, and the name/url button for comments doesn't work. It took me 20 minutes to write this.
