Well I guess I deserved that.
The not receiving any entries for the contest thing, I mean.
I'm sure most of you are busy reading Hanna is Not a Boy's Name and/or making art for her, so it's understandable.
I don't even know where to go from here. I'm so tired. Either I act like this and get a bunch of pity that only serves to bring me around to this point again or I am completely ignored.
But the fact is I have nothing else. I update and post art because I want your attention so bad. Just some comments, some questions, fucking hate mail, I don't care. I want to be able to love my work because it means something to someone else.
This is embarrassing and rude. But I had to let you guys know.

Don't think that cause you didn't get entries for your contest doesn't mean we aren't watching :(
Fact is a lot of us (including me) can't draw for squat. If I had tried it would have been disrespectful of your work.
Don't feel bad. Just keep doing what you do best.

I posted a response, but Blogger decided even THAT wasn't worth the virtual space.
HiNABN is a comic that is destroying all other comics. The popularity is deserved, but it's also like a white-hot knife burning into my chest. Really slowly and twisting, and then they leave it, and then come back and twist it a little more to rip the healing parts...pretty much like that but every hour.
I suddenly feel like working on my comics again because it might bring in new readers and excite the pre-existing ones, but I know, in my wretched, bleeding, cold heart, that that isn't true.
Oh, fucking Jesus crap, I knew I was forgetting something... I'm so sorry... I just got stressed out by exams and failing two classes and almost getting kicked out of university before I even freaking start it and work that I haven't drawn ANYTHING in a while... Well, since it's too late now, I might as well just post what I did draw - so you can see that some of us did attempt to make an entry. Life just got in the way.
And I forget how you do links in the a href crap, so if I do it wrong, s'not my fault.

The sizes are all off because of the screenshot program I used (in a related note, the pictures will only be online for a week).

Sounds like you had your own Roger-esque issues. Yes, Roger, too, is on the brink of academic probation. This doesn't make your situation better and, yeah, life gets in the way. It's going to get worse.
The sketches are great! I love them. It's...still...kind of technically July 1st. I suppose it would be unfair to not give you SOMETHING for the work you did.

Bleh, I hate being related to characters that are failing at something (it happens a lot more then I'd like to admit). Why can't I be more like Baxter then Roger... Wait, it's probably not a good thing that I want to be more like the raging sociopath then the average person... And I'm well aware of the fact that life is going to get so much worse, but right now all I can do is sit back and enjoy the apathia.
Haha, thanks. Umm, yay for technicalities? XD I guess I'd go with a giftcard for Chapters, seeing as that would be the most useful thing (although this was one of the toughest decisions I have ever made - it took me an hour, no exaggeration).
I still plan on actually finishing a page as fanart, though. And I've honestly never heard of HiNaBN before you mentioned it.

Heh, is it not posting what you say the first time around? Welcome to my world. The trick is you copy the message just before hitting send, for just in case you have to re-paste it.

Good advice, let's see how it goes...
The Contact "page" isn't a page, but if you mouseover it, and you have FireFox like a normal human should, you'll see at the bottom lefthand of the screen the email address listed. It's not perfect, but it saves me having to make another page.
But About page is live now! :D
