For KitFang

For KitFang. Who doesn't like her real name on the internet (srsly, what's the mystery?).

Thanks for sticking with me for so long and showing me what true fangirlism is all about. I should send you some more crackers. Thanks for all the long-night chats on AIM. Thanks for the awesome and slightly terrifying fanart. Thanks for getting me addicted to Fiesta (if an update's late, it's her fault, folks).

Thank you.

Today's Page: It was hard getting beyond the 5th panel for some reason, but all in all, it turned out well.

Contest and website: CONTEST CONTEST CONTEST! Did you not see the gigantic banner on the website?! Awesome prizes! Click the banner and see what it's all about

The website is starting to fall apart in terms of coding and suddenly it occurs to me that I've forgotten all of my HTML and CSS skills (and math). So I'm trying to rebuild it. Does anyone else have the issue of the journal appearing below the comic? If so you probably aren't reading this. I'm trying to fix that. Also the buttons at the bottom of the page and the links. AGH!

All of this and I STILL need to take the GRE! FML!

Next Dedication: Blooper-boy on dA. I'm not sure who you are but thanks for the dedication opportunity! And for reading GF! And putting up with my slack-updates!

Uhhhh.... It's part of my mystery and allure! Yeah...that's it. :P

Woo! My page is yay. ^__^ I love the panels canceling each other out with a little white square there. (Is that weird? :o )

Hina is so disgusted at having seduced Dreamweaver. XD

I TOTALLY expected her to be all "You didn't block the plumbing." in that last panel, you have no idea. XDD

Glad you like it. It's not the most action-packed, Tlaloc/Alex rape-tastic, Baxter sexy splash page in GF, but it looks nice at least.

Because clearly, I only like action and sex. ^_~ XD

For the record, I generally despise splash pages! I realize they have their place in the medium...but online, it feels rather like a giant HAHA WAIT TIL NEXT TIME FOR ANYTHING TO ACTUALLY HAPPEN and flipping of "the bird" to the reader. ...at least to me. ...Also since it takes me so long to load anything, it's like HA! TRICKED YA!

...yes, when something online annoys me, it always chooses to do so in caps-lock, donchaknow? XD

I have only done a couple splash pages. The one with Hak facing Baxter and Baxter about to enter the Realm are the only two I can remember off the top of my head. Oh and I guess the end of Issue 4 was kind of a splash page. BUT I was updating more often back then. Also, I had more time and didn't hate my life as hard as I do right now.

This isn't going to be the first or the last time I say this, but I have NO idea how some artists find the time to update three times a week, let alone every day. They either have someone to support them financially or they make all their money on the comic (or in my case, I was in college). And it frustrates me very much. My art is cockblock by the means to support it (a job).

So as much as I'd love to have splash pages all the time because they're fast, fun and easy and would be replaced by more pages, I can't. And that makes me a saaaaaad panda.

Someone get me out of here.

Yeah, you've never been splash-happy. This is a good thing. Have you ever encountered those comics that have a splash page every couple pages? Augh. (If they're gonna be like that, they should publish in print and nowhere else.) B[

I'm sorry to hear you're frustrated. Working truly does suck... If only we didn't require food or shelter or electronics...we'd be pretty set.

*offers you bamboo and a hug*
