(Don't forget to add GF on your facebook page, the link is on the left!)

I wanted to announce that the GF mini comic "BLOOD" is going into production! By production, I mean that it's all still in my head, but I'm getting it a lot cleaner and organized and it's going to happen. I'm very excited.

It's the story of what it was like to wake up an Aztec god halfway through your existence, already having memories and enemies and a past, but perhaps never living it. It's a stand-alone comic as well as part of GF and it is pretty far into the future right now, but I wanted to announce it now because I'll be doing sketches soon, just to get a rough re-workable idea going. It will be updated here on the site as regular pages, but I'm thinking of publishing it after it's done. So if you like it, you can buy it!

Look forward to it!

This page reminds me to pay rent and do my state taxes...hm.

So immediately after posting this on dA because CG was down, CG came back up so I posted it here. If you don't follow me on dA, that's fine because sometimes I put up spoilers and I don't even know they're spoilers. My hands get ahead of me sometimes. I DID recently draw Tlaloc as a tiny frog and it's probably the most adorable thing you'll see in the next 70 years.

I finished this page before 1pm today, which is only like an hour after waking up. I'm really surprised by that because typically I'm just laying there for hours wondering WHY.

I had a nightmare this morning and each time I fell asleep again it was a continuation of it. I also dreamt I was hording siamese kittens and some dogs in my apartment. Aliens, death, mutilation and a tidal wave from all sides ensued. Ugh. Can't I just SLEEP for once?

No update today. Yes, I failed you again.

I wanted to remind people that there is now a Facebook fan page in case your own profile doesn't have enough crap on it. The link is on the left under the Forum banner.

I sure aside from what "top five dogs you'd like to own", people may also be enthralled with what comics you read. No, it won't make it into the Guinness book of world records.

Garanos and San: The Three Kingdoms also have Facebook pages. Look em up and become a fan.

Another one bites the dust.

Yet another widely-acclaimed, internationally accepted and loved webcomic artist has decided to redo her comic from square one because she no longer likes the beginning. I am extremely tired of authors/artists doing this, aren't you? She's going to get a bunch of comments like "take your time, we love you!" but I am so tempted to just scream "it's old work, learn from it and move on, you lazy bastard".

I don't like the beginning of GF anymore than you guys. It's ugly and a bit loose. But you know what? I can accept that. I've learned from it and am moving on. I'm reWRITING GF into a book so it's a little tighter, but I'd never throw on the E-stop and go back to the beginning, only to make you wait even longer for updates.

She's leaving her comic in a terrible place for readers. It's the middle of a chapter. And as for the track record, seems like a good amount of comic artists give up the story ENTIRELY while trying to redo it. You can't step into those places over and over and, fine you've grown up and you're smarter, the story may be different to you now. Just MOVE ON.

Because of this, I have removed the link from my list and my update schedule. This person didn't bother to put up much of a notice for her loyal readers and considering how BIG her work is, that's really disrespectful.

You readers may follow her in her journey backwards, but I am not. I'm not going to deal with the heartache anymore.

WOW! That was a speed run!

I wanted to finish this page today before work so I got up at 11am (that's early for me, shut up, I work 2nd shift) and worked on it nonstop! JUST FOR YOU! :D

Right! So now I have to go. Enjoy!

I missed Tlaloc too. You can all thank Mark for convincing me not to kill him off permanently and pulling a DBZ.

EDIT: Yes, ladies, you do get to see Tlaloc naked in a few pages...

BWAGAH!

Surprised by my sudden two-day update? Don't be. I like this part a lot and figured I should make up for the last page's poor quality with this.

LOOK IT'S TLALOC YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY NOW. l: (

That's just like me: a day late and a dollar short.

A few hundred dollars short, really, but I had a great weekend thanks to my friend Liz (who doesn't read this comic but she SHOULD...).

Sorry about the poor quality of this page. It was done while drinking coffee and there's a few things on my mind that are keeping me from focusing.

And yeah, Tlaloc is a little tanner, isn't he? Well, he IS and E-Mexican.

Emoxican?
...I'm not sure.

He's emo and Mexican, shut up.

MEXICO!

Geezus, Tlaloc...pick something!

This page was meant to be up yesterday, but it wasn't done...so it wasn't. The next page hasn't been started yet, but there's a 30% chance I could get it done for Friday or Saturday.

EDIT: I'd like to wish everyone a happy first day of Spring! That means a lot in Vermont because we get 9 months of fall/winter/construction and can't go outside to play or even enjoy an open window. Today, I am throwing the doors and windows open and cleaning the hell out of everything. Maybe I'll even make my very first yard sale pile in case June ever shows up!

It just means I won't get around to working on the next page until later tonight...or maybe at all. Who knows? I told you there was only a 30%. Christ, go outside!

Hey, it's that guy.

EDIT: I realize panel 4 looks WAY too much like "Garanos". Sorry Alex (Heberling).

Wednesday March 11th, 2009

NOTE: Next update is on Monday.

I had been planning to kill off Alex on several occasions. Once in issue 4 and once in issue 9.

Music that played on my iTunes while coloring: "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult and "Mad World" by Gary Jules.

See you later!

EDIT: Our good friend MystickFire helped me with this page. Thank you!

EDIT EDIT: Don't forget about the facebook fan page for GO FISH. You can find it here!
Also, look in the FORUM for my own review of "Apocalypto".

A quick tidbit before work.

This time of year in the part of the world I live in is when people end up killing themselves the most. In fact, the colleges up here throw in a few extra breaks because the statistics are so depressing.

Not that I'M planning anything, but I can see WHY. The next ten days, according to the insipid weather.com, are going to be a mix of 41 degree days and snow flurries. Typical. But that's also a great variance in barometer. And if you've ever watched a TLC or Discovery Channel special, you know that the barometer can seriously mess with a human brain.

That's probably what's going on right now. All I feel like doing is sleeping. I'm very uninspired. But I did some work today while the sun was out and before I had to go to work. I hate being inside when the sun is shining. Expect fewer updates in the summer (and even fewer when I'm in Mexico!).

EDIT: No, fuck all of that whining. Nobody wants to hear it.

An update at some point this week.

EDIT EDIT: There is now a Facebook fan page for people who don't have enough crap on their Facebook pages!
