MAY. Holy crap, July is so close.

As it turns out, this weekend has been hell. I can't find any reason to get out of bed other than to buy a car. Now it turns out my uncle is passing away after having had cancer for a while and no one tells me until today. I'll probably skip out of some plans I made for tomorrow to go home. There isn't anything I can do, obviously, but it's family. You do these things.

TODAY'S PAGE: I redid the angels' attire. The pencil sketch of panel one has Ramses' sword in sheath, plus some other cool details of his outfit. Note the cross of the archangels on his arm. If you don't remember Ezriel, go back and read chapter 9...or was it 10? I don't know. The next page will be, as promised, Tuesday unless something comes up and takes my attention away.

Heyo guys! No update yet. I bought the Sims2: Mansions and Gardens so a Go-Fishy thought hasn't run through my head (unless you count now having sufficient dreadlocks to make Huitzil...), but it's a phase. Don't worry.

I'd also like to bring to your attention a comic I've always liked. Geist Panik. A spin-off or what-have-you of Hookie-Dookie-Panik (which I couldn't really get into) about ghost hunting. I wanted to find out why he hasn't updated in so long so I did the honorable thing and scrolled down (oh the effort...). Turns out he's in a bit of a funk. His idea of being a big webcomic hero seem to be faltering and, from the looks of it, people are heckling him.

I'm not asking you to send your donations (though that would be cool), but just read his comic, maybe send some love. It never hurts to tell artists you like their work. It's great kindling. And I'd really hate to see that comic go under because he's depressed.

EDIT: Review for "Mushi-Shi" posted in the Forum.

A couple things I've noticed:

1) I have NO fucking clue what's going anymore at Wapsi Square. Is it just me? It's probably just me.
2) The banner on this page matches the update...HORRIBLY.

Still no word on my progress. Sorry, chums. I've been stewing over Mexico and spending WAY too much time on Encyclopedia Dramatica. Seriously, if you ever feel like you're a bad person, there are about 300 ways to unconvince yourself over there. Do it. Beware of annoying pop-ups.

Looks like GF is officially going to a Tuesday and Friday update schedule (just like our buddy Lunar Boy!).

HOWEVER, I can't promise an update THIS Tuesday or Friday. Part three is still wrought with issues (heh) and continuity problems. I think now that my head has sprung a creative leak, it is very difficult to focus it into ONE THING. For examples of my bullshittery, please use the Art link above...

All I can say is that GF will be posting Tuesdays and Fridays whenever I get back to doing updates.

The update poll on facebook will be closing Sunday night. If you haven't voted yet, please take a second. I know you're already perma-signed into facebook, don't even lie about it.

The updates will hopefully start soon. But as it is the weekend and I've been spending more time fucking around than doing actual GF pages, I don't have anymore of a basis to begin part three than I did last week. GO ME!

On the flip side, I have had a lot of creative energy moving and everything I think about gets dropped onto paper (rational or not...mostly the latter) which means it's easier to draw as opposed to the self-destructive motive I have been using.

As soon as I figure out where part three is going, I'll be doing a buffer (I know, I know, that promise never goes too far, does it?) and beginning regular updates according to your whims. It's a lot easier to peck away at pages then it is to try and cram them all into a bundle. Trust me.

Well, you know where to reach me. If you aren't reading this and/or don't give a crap about the updates, you'll probably see some changes. Hey if you aren't reading this, I can say a bunch of bad stuff about you! AHAHAHAHA!

No update on Friday. Part three is still scattered across my bedroom. I'll try to get some base finished before next week, but until I get some results on the updating schedule, I'm still going to update randomly (hey, it works for Zebra Girl).

On a much much much happier note with gleeful sprinkles of rapture and a lace mesh of sweetness, I'm finally drawing again and it seems like even sleep can't stop me. I was tempted to get out of bed at 5am this morning (too angry at my neighbors to fall asleep) and just start working on some character designs for BLOOD. I may actually have to write the story down or at least in a list form so I can have some extra storage in my head. EDIT: Today's page - Yay it's up! Not so great, but MONEY SHOT AMIRITE? No, go fuck yourself. One more page left of this part, also, Tlaloc butt, ftw. I've been sketching part 3 like crazy-go-nuts, but it's still just sketches. I'm going to take some time to sharpen it. No hiatus, just time. My brain has been very, very distracted by the mini comic. I'm starving and un-caffienated, so bye now.

BTW, I'm taking Spanish in preparation for Mexico; anyone wanna help me study?

No update yet. Sorry, guys. I've been sick since last Saturday and not only is it making me ridiculously delirious at times (which is actually quite funny), but it's been making me really unenthusiastic. Happy Cat has run out of Happy, basically.

I've been doing a few sketch pages for BLOOD and so far, so good. I love the detail I put into page one, but the others are coming out like my sketches for regular pages. I'm also on the fence on whether I should hand-draw these pages or stay with Illustrator. Since going with Illustrator, I've actually begun to forget how to draw. Also, using him in a wide array of action poses in the comic, Tlaloc in his god form is finally shaping up, but still appears way too adorable for something that big, slimey and hairy. I think it's his eyes.

I finally got some ink for my printer to print out my hoodie transfer, but it was the wrong cartridge. It seems to fit and run okay, but the ink isn't coming out as black as I'd like it to. Suggestions? Is there a print head that may need cleaning? I'm so lost about these things when I can't brain...I have the dumb. (Thank you, Jay)

April Fools

I don't have a funny entry for today, but after years of reading webcomics, it's kind of a tradition to throw readers a loop today. So far it looks like "Garanos" is the only one on my MWF list that did it.

And it's pretty hilarious actually. I applaud you, Alex.
